Mathcounts

[Registration Form]

This is the first call for volunteers to help with the MATHCOUNTS National Competition May 5 - 7, 2005. This year’s competition is hosted by General Motors and will be held at the Marriott Detroit, Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI, 48243.

As you may know, MATHCOUNTS is a national mathematics enrichment program that strives to make achievement in mathematics a reality for hundreds of thousands of middle school students. Once again, 228 students from all 50 states, U.S. territories and State Department and Department of Defense schools will compete for the honors of becoming the country’s top team and individual math champions. It is through the valuable support of volunteers that this competition will truly be success. Come help make this year's event spectacular and see these marvelous Mathletes® in action! If you would like to volunteer, please complete the attached 2005 Volunteer Registration Form, indicating which volunteer opportunity interests you, and return it via fax or mail by April 4.

If you have further questions, please contact Megan Balkovic with MATHCOUNTS by phone, 703-684-2889, or email, mbalkovic@mathcounts.org.
